The OEPSA CBLT team met and had reports on the following:
New State Retirement Language
L. Windom reported on the changes in Florida law that will impact employees in DROP. These changes take affect July 1, 2009. The same presentation will be made to all Union Management Meetings (UMM) so each job family can discuss the impact on that particular job family.
Update from Compensation Services on Job Description Revision Updates

Report from the Chief of Staff and Chief Financial Officer on money for Salary increases
Chief of Staff, Barbara Jenkins and Chief Financial Officer, Rick Collins presented an update on the District’s financial picture. They also presented the School Board’s offer for Salary increases for 2009-2010. The offer presented was a 1.35% salary increase.
Suzanne Vendena, Sr. Director for Compensation Services presented suggestions for the team to consider. Between now and the next meeting, Suzanne will work on the number of the various scenarios for the Team to consider at their next meeting.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 8:30 to 12 noon.
